Tube descent - CIME Aventures

“Pure pleasure!”

This activity is for people of 12 years old minimum.

A 2 km tube or snorkelling descent of the river Bonaventure. Access to the rapid Malin and the “Deep Hole”, a magnificent salmon pool.

Interested in diving or snorkelling? Bring your own snorkel, mask and wetsuit and enjoy the river at your own pace.

Tube or snorkelling available from July 19^th to August 6^th.

Descent of the Bonaventure in one of your chosen floating equipment among inflated tube, HydroSpeed and boogie board. It includes the individual life jacket, the transportation to departure point upstream of the rapid Malin and the time you need to enjoy your afternoon up to Cime Aventures.

There is a zero-tolerance policy in place for alcohol and cannabis consumption during all activities.

Detailed program for the Tube or snorkelling descent :

Departures at 12:15 and 13:00.

Arrival at Cime Aventures 30 minutes before departure ;
Equipment rental if needed (wetsuits, neoprene boots) ;
Bring your own mask and snorkel or purchase one here for $29,95 ;
Shuttle from Cime Aventures to the departure point upstream the rapid Malin ;
Tubing down the river or on a boogie board ;
You have to be back at Cime by 17h30.

- Weather
  In the case of rain, no activity is jeopardized. According to the weather conditions, it could be compulsory to wear a wet suit. In that case, it will be offered at no cost.
- Exceptional circumstances
  In the case of exceptional circumstances, the itinerary might be slightly modified or cancelled to guarantee the participants' safety (in that case, the activity could be postponed or reimbursed).

Reservation and cancellation policy

Reservation policy
- Un dépôt de 30% est requis au moment de la réservation et la balance de 70% restante 7 jours avant. Les deux versements seront pris automatiquement sur la carte de crédit.
- For reservations made 7 days or less before your stay, complete payment is required upon booking.
Cancellation insurance
- 10% de la facture totale, non remboursable
- Must be purchased at the time of initial reservation.
- In case of cancellation, allows refund* of total of invoice, except the insurance amount. *Refer to cancellation policy below.
Cancellation policy
- Pour toutes les activités et hébergements (excluant canot-camping et navettes longue durée), l’assurance annulation permet un remboursement jusqu’à 17 heures la veille de l’activité.
- In case of cancellation, without insurance, no refund will be given except for cases of "force majeure" with official proof.
- In a case of "force majeure" with official proving document, full refund will be given by Cime Aventures, including cancellation insurance amount.
- For all activities, accommodations and meals (except canoe-camping and shuttles), the cancellation insurance allows refunds for cancellation made before or at 5:00PM the day before departure.
